Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma / Certificate in Safety Management or Occupational Health and Safety and or
- SAMTRAC / COMSOC or equivalent
- First Aid Certification
- Assist in compiling, reviewing, and updating the SHE Plan for all assigned areas
- Drive SHE compliance across all IFM service disciplines
- Conduct and support hazard identification and risk assessments (IBRA and JRA)
- Review, verify, and approve IBRAs prior to execution of work
- Ensure SLAM (Stop, Look, Assess, Manage) processes are implemented daily
- Verify SLAM compliance before commencement of tasks
- Ensure all risk assessments are properly signed off
- Conduct audits and inspections of Business Partner HSE files
- Ensure HSE files are complete, compliant, and approved prior to work commencement
- Maintain and track approval status of all HSE files per Business Partner
- Verify legal appointments, risk assessments, and method statement
- Monitor and manage Passport 360 compliance for all Business Partners
- Ensure all documentation is uploaded, approved, and valid
- Track and manage validity of:
- Medicals
- Inductions
- Training
- Access cards
- Prevent access for non-compliant personnel
- Proactively manage expiries and renewals
- Monitor SHE performance across all IFM service disciplines within assigned areas
- Assist in compiling monthly SHE and operational activity reports
- Report on:
- Safety performance trends
- Compliance deviations
- Risk exposure areas
- Business Partner compliance
- Status of corrective actions
- Maintain accurate SHE statistics including incidents, injuries, man-hours, and risk assessments
- Monitor and track closure of Isometrix actions per Business Partner and responsible area
- Ensure incidents, deviations, and audit findings are logged
- Follow up on outstanding actions and escalate where required
- Ensure effective SHE system utilization
- Conduct regular site inspections across all assigned areas
- Ensure Health and Safety Representatives perform inspections
- Issue non-conformance reports and maintain registers
- Track and enforce closure of corrective actions
- Conduct Business Partner SHE audits
