Available Apprenticeship Positions

TMS International is recruiting apprentices in the following engineering trades:

  • 4 Diesel Mechanic Apprentices
  • 1 Auto Electrician Apprentice
  • 1 Electrician Apprentice

These trades play a critical role in industrial plant maintenance and offer strong career prospects once qualified.

Applicants must clearly indicate the specific trade they are applying for when submitting their application.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

This apprenticeship has strict entry requirements. Applications that do not meet these requirements may not be considered.

To qualify, applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics
  • Physical Sciences
  • N3 Technical Qualification in the relevant trade
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment

Important notes:

  • Mathematical Literacy is not accepted
  • N3 qualifications must be technical trade related
  • Management or non technical N3 courses will not be accepted

Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee selection, but failure to meet them will result in automatic disqualification.
