Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Valid driver's licence.
- National Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) Training.
- Permit-to-Work (PTW) System Training.
- 1 to 3 years' experience in a Health and Safety role within an industrial, refinery, manufacturing or facilities management environment.

- Verify completion of Pre-Task Hazard Assessments prior to high-risk activities.
- Facilitate employee and contractor toolbox talks.
- Participate in client and internal Safety Committee meetings.
- Promote safe working practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support implementation of SHEQ objectives and improvement plans.
- Conduct planned and ad hoc workplace inspections.
- Perform Verification and Validation (V&V) inspections.
- Audit contractor activities against site requirements.
- Conduct inspections of tools, equipment and PPE.
- Issue Stop Work instructions where necessary.
- Ensure timely closure of inspection findings.
- Maintain all inspection records and registers.
