- Safe use of hand tools and power tools.
- Maintenance inspection techniques.
- Health and Safety (SHEQ) awareness.
- Work order management and maintenance reporting.

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance throughout the facility.
- Carry out minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and building repairs.
- Repair furniture, fittings, and fixtures where required.
- Respond to maintenance requests and breakdowns within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure work areas are left clean, safe, and tidy after repairs.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in good working order.
- Conduct basic inspections of lighting, plugs, switches, and electrical equipment.
- Identify and report electrical faults requiring qualified electricians.
- Perform basic checks on HVAC and air-conditioning systems.

- Address minor issues before they escalate.
- Escalate major defects and technical issues appropriately.
- Monitor and report leaks, wear and tear, and potential equipment failures.
- Attend to allocated work orders within required timelines.
- Update job records accurately.
- Record additional work requirements and outstanding actions.
- Escalate contractor requirements where applicable.
- Provide feedback on outstanding jobs and progress.
- Escort and monitor contractors on site where required.
- Facilitate access to work areas.
- Support compliance with site safety requirements.
- Verify completed work before contractor departure.
- Report incomplete or substandard work.
- Ensure contractors leave work areas clean and safe.
