Minimum Requirements
- Appropriate experience as a Security Officer.
- General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7).
- Knowledge of security related prescripts, regulations and procedures. Basic knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Ability to work in a team as well as independently and change to any shift when required. Be responsible and diligent and ability to work under pressure. Good Communication skills (verbal and written).
- Willingness to work shifts, change shifts when required and be available on a 24-hour basis. Must be physically fit. A valid driver’s licence.
Responsibilities
- Ensure access/egress control, patrolling buildings, parking areas and perimeter fencing. Investigation of crimes, incidents, security breaches and writing of statements and reports. Controlling of all hospital keys. Supervise outsource security officers.
