Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year relevant experience

  • Relevant legislation/ policies/ prescripts and procedures
  • Financial regulations and instructions to ensure smooth administrative functioning of the financial administration and procurement

Responsibilities

  • Supervise implementation and administration of the external developmental initiatives “EDI” Programmes: Comprehensive Agricultural Support Programme (CASP)
  • Agricultural Partnership for Youth Development (APFYD)
  • Young Professional Persons Programme (YPP)
  • Premiers Advancement of Youth (PAY)/ Fist Working Experience
  • Coordination agricultural partnership for youth development projects and internship
  • Administer internships, and the Agricultural Partnership for Youth Development and Internship and bursaries programmes
  • Perform administrative functions
  • Promotion of Agriculture as a career path for youth (travel extensively to promote agriculture as a career of choice throughout the Western Cape province, including working after hours and weekends when required)
  • People Management.
