- An appropriate 3 year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification)
- A minimum of 1 year relevant experience
- A valid (Code B or higher) driving license. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also Working knowledge of the following: IPS/LOGIS and BAS
- Relevant legislation/ policies/ prescripts and procedures
- Financial regulations and instructions to ensure smooth administrative functioning of the financial administration and procurement
- nowledge of working procedures in terms of the working environment
- Disciplinary code and procedures
- People management
- Skills in the following: Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and internet proficiency

Responsibilities
- Supervise implementation and administration of the external developmental initiatives “EDI” Programmes: Comprehensive Agricultural Support Programme (CASP)
- Agricultural Partnership for Youth Development (APFYD)
- Young Professional Persons Programme (YPP)
- Premiers Advancement of Youth (PAY)/ Fist Working Experience
- Coordination agricultural partnership for youth development projects and internship
- Administer internships, and the Agricultural Partnership for Youth Development and Internship and bursaries programmes
- Perform administrative functions
- Promotion of Agriculture as a career path for youth (travel extensively to promote agriculture as a career of choice throughout the Western Cape province, including working after hours and weekends when required)
- People Management.
