Minimum Requirements

• An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher)
• PSIRA registration minimum Grade B
• A minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also Working knowledge and understanding of the following: Legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices that have a bearing on the line functions
• Information systems that aid in the management of knowledge and information pertaining to the line function
• Project management
• Operational management practices
• Procurement and tendering processes
• Recommendation N/A
• Working knowledge and understanding of the following: Legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices that have a bearing on the line functions

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the provisioning of security services to safeguard Provincial Government assets, including employees, property and visitors
• Manage and oversee the performance of outsourced security service providers across departments
• Coordinate planning, reporting and performance management activities for physical protection
• Managerial functions.
