  • B Tech/National Higher Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Engineering at NQF7 with 360 Credits.
  • 4 Years Experience in asset management, asset management tools & systems, configuration, administration, support, and technology leadership.
  • Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as Professional Technologist.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Develop asset management and engineering processes, tools and systems
  • 2. Maintain the NTCSA asset management system
  • 3. Provide support on asset management and engineering processes, tools and systems
  • 4. Provide training on asset management and engineering processes, tools and systems
  • 5. Ensure adherence to asset management and engineering processes, tools and systems, standards and procedures
  • 6. Provides a technical consulting and investigating service for customers.
  • 7. Produces and integrates engineering solutions/ designs for asset creation at various stages in the project life cycle.
  • 8. Develops and approves discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practises and specifications for approval.
  • 9. Manages and conducts product, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluation.
  • 10. Provides input into discipline specific technology vision strategy and direction setting.
  • 11. Conducts discipline specific technology research into new technologies.
  • 12. Participates in national and international technical forums.
  • 13. Provides professional technical leadership for technologists in different disciplines.
