Minimum Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written). Good communication, planning and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team-context. Enhance patient care through the implementation of SOP's, policies and guidelines.
- Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience after registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
- Qualification that allows for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
- Willingness to work shifts, night duty, public holidays, after-hours, and weekend cover for nursing. Must be prepared to assist in all departments according to operational needs. Ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Effective utilization of physical and financial resources. Assist patients with activities of daily living (physical care). To provide elementary clinical nursing care. Maintain professional growth/ ethical standards and self-development.
