Minimum Requirements
- Good communication skills. Self- discipline and motivation.
- Grade 1: None Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Nursing Assistant with the SANC. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Nursing Assistant with the SANC.
- Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
- Willingness to work after hours when needed. Willingness to assist at other clinics in the Sub-district when needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living which include patient hygiene, nutritional status, mobility and elimination needs. Provide elementary clinical nursing care. Effective utilization of resources. Maintain professional growth, ethical standards and self-development. Record keeping.
