Minimum Requirements
- Good communication skills. Self- discipline and motivation.
- Grade 1: None Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Nursing Assistant with the SANC. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Nursing Assistant with the SANC.
- Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, public holidays, night shifts and overtime. Willingness to rotate to other wards in the hospital and to assist at the Murraysburg Clinic when needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living which include patient hygiene, nutritional status, mobility and elimination needs. Provide elementary clinical nursing care. Effective utilization of resources. Maintain professional growth, ethical standards and self-development. Record keeping.
