Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years appropriate/recognizable experience after registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse in General Nursing.
- Ability to function independently in a multi-disciplinary team and the ability to direct the team to ensure quality nursing care. Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures, and protocols as Operational Manager Nursing (General: Family medicine). Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of nursing and public service legislation and human resource and financial policies. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including day and night duty, as well as weekends and public holidays, in accordance with operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the provision of effective and efficient patient care through the identification of nursing care needs, the planning & implementation of nursing care and the guidance of nursing & other personnel Bed Management. Manage human, material and physical resources efficiently and effectively. Maintain & promote professional growth/ethical standards and development of self & others. Display the core values of the Department of health WCG in the execution of duties.
