The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government, has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to coordinate the strategic and operational planning processes for the department and public entities.

Minimum Requirements

  • An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher); a minimum of 3 years relevant middle management level experience.
  • Knowledge of the following : Recommendation N/A
  • Plan and manage the departmental strategic and operational planning processes for the department and public entities, including the Strategic Plan (SP), Annual Performance Plan (APP), and input into the Provincial Strategic Plan (PSP), including MTEC. Coordinate and facilitate the compilation of quarterly performance reports and annual performance reports. Facilitate the departmental Batho Pele and service delivery improvement initiatives; plan and manage the work of and account for the overall performance of the subdirectorate: people management and financial management.
